The grand opening of the Ozaukee
Interurban Trail is Saturday September 28, 2002! Join
the celebration at the Ozaukee Justice Center (1201
South Spring Street, Port Washington) from noon until 3
p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony is at 1 p.m. Activities
will be provided for the entire family. Join us for :

Food – Burgers & Brats $1.75, Hot Dogs
$1.25, Chips .25, Soda .50, Water $1.00, Beer $2.00 and
Citrona $3.00
Entertainment – Live Band – “Blond Faith”
Bike Safety Rodeo for Kids presented by the Port
Washington Police Dept.
Bicycle Safety Checks by Bill Pence- Grafton Ski &
Cyclery
Limited supply of bicycle helmets for
kids, water bottles and blood pressure screening.
T-Shirts will be for sale with the
Trail Logo on them |
Trail maps are now available through the Ozaukee
County Tourism Council (1-800-403-9898) or at our local
community Chamber of Commerce. They will also be
available at the Trail Opening. |

Washington Comfort Station

This comfort station is located
along the trail in Downtown Port Washington near
South Wisconsin and Chestnut Streets. Amenities will
include; public restrooms, picnic table, drinking
fountain, faucet, fish cleaning area and map of the
trail.
