JOIN US FOR AN EVENT ALONG THE TRAIL!

Spring 2007

Trail Project Update-  In April, the County and Bloom Consultants, LLC met all the agreed upon design and engineering deadlines with the WI Department of Transportation for the entire project.  It is anticipated that the project will go out to bid in July 2007.   For additional information, please read the article “Bicycle bridge could be finished in July 2008” here.

Bike to Work Week– May 12-18, 2007.  For information on how to celebrate in the Milwaukee area, please visit the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin.  Click here for more information.  On May 19th, celebrate in Ozaukee County at the Village Park in Thiensville.  Click here for more information.

Events:

May 19th- 4th Annual Pig-to Pig-Walk to benefit Family Sharing of Ozaukee County Food Pantry. Click here for more information.

May 20th- Milwaukee’s 17th annual Tour de Cure to benefit the American Diabetes Association.  Click here for more information. 

June 3rd– 27th Annual Miller Lite Ride for the Arts.  The 75-mile route utilizes portions of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail.  Click here for more information.

15th Annual National Trails Day- June 2, 2007

Explore the Beerline Trail on Milwaukee’s East Side on a 2 hour hike from Gordon Park to North Avenue, across to Caesar's Park, up to Riverside Park and back (about 2.5 miles)  FREE!  Click here for more information.
